To join the Paramus Ambulance Corps, you must:

be a resident of Paramus (Effective for 2005, we intend to modify this requirement to give preference to Paramus residents, but to allow nonresidents to apply for membership in the Paramus Ambulance Corps. Accordingly, nonresidents are encouraged to apply.),

be at least 16 years old,

be able to pass a criminal background investigation,

be able to pass a driving background investigation,

be able to pass a physical examination (at our expense),

be certified currently as an EMT-B, and,

be currently certified in CPR.
